Iberican Language Services, Inc., prides itself in providing highly experienced, educated, certified and quality interpreters whose passion is their profession. In addition to the biculturalism in their respective language pairs, most interpreters have at least a Bachelor’s degree, many a Master’s degree and some a PhD. Interpreters take their work extremely seriously and understand the complexities, nuances, responsibility, and sensitivities the profession carries with it.
Owner, Linda Zamora, is a Certified Court Interpreter herself. She earned her bachelor of arts degree from California State University Long Beach in Spanish Literature and Culture. Fluent in English and Spanish, she has lived in Spain, and various countries in Latin America. This first-hand experience has given her clear linguistic and cultural perspectives that produce culturally appropriate work bridging the gap of today’s diversity challenges. In fact, she and all of her interpreters are “bridge builders”, connecting people through language.
Known for building trusting relationships, Linda is well respected throughout the industry and among clients and colleagues. She is a past board member of the Association of Independent Judicial Interpreters of California (AIJIC) and Interpreters’ Guild of America (IGA.)
